Tickets

Festival events are ticketed individually therefore tickets will need to be purchased for each event that you wish to attend. Entry to some events and workshops will be free, and will be indicated in the event listing online and in print. We strongly advise you to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Children under 2, who do not require a seat, do not require a ticket.

Booking Online 

Tickets can be purchased online via the website. Tickets purchased online will be emailed electronically and need not be printed as long as you bring your phone or device on which your virtual ticket is visible to our festival stewards.

Booking by Phone

Tickets can be purchased via the phone by calling our box office number. The box office number will be available to call between 9:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

Booking in Person

During the festival, tickets will be available for purchase in person at our box office. The box office will be situated inside the Festival Hub in Centenary Square. Tickets will be available to purchase up to 30 minutes before the event.

All ticket prices are listed on our website. All ticket prices include VAT.

Please note we do not post out paper tickets, please use your email confirmation to gain entry into events. 

Group Bookings

For group bookings, including schools and community groups, please contact us on boxoffice@bradfordliteraturefestival.co.uk.

Access Requirements

If you are registered disabled, we can issue a free ticket for your support worker or companion. Please let us know in advance if you have any specific requirements by calling or emailing the box office.

Refunds and Cancellations

Please check your tickets as soon as you receive them. All tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged under any circumstances unless an event is cancelled. If an event has to be cancelled it will be announced as soon as possible. Please check the website regularly for updates.

If you have bought tickets you will be contacted, usually via email and we will arrange a ticket refund, within 28 days.

Latecomers

Please arrive early. It may not be possible to admit latecomers once an event has started and Bradford Literature Festival reserves the right to refuse admission to any performance until a suitable break, or we may ask you to take the nearest available seat.

Some free events may have limited capacity and entry cannot be guaranteed so please arrive in plenty of time.

 

Terms & Conditions

Filming and Photography

Please be advised that filming and/or photography will be taking place throughout the festival. The films/photographs will be used by the festival for marketing and communication reasons, including promotional materials, through social media channels and on our website. Booking a ticket constitutes your consent to the filming, sound recording, or photographing of yourself as part of the audience.

Childrens Policy

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all events. While Bradford Literature Festival maintains a child protection policy we cannot act in loco parentis, or take responsibility, for unsupervised children.

Events for Children

Please adhere to the age range specified for children’s and family events. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible person aged 18 or over. We keep our prices as low as possible to allow for this. Any such person may accompany a maximum of 6 children to an event.

You may be asked to leave the event if your child is disruptive.

The Lost Child Point

There will be a Lost Child point situated in the Festival Hub in Centenary Square. It is up to the parent to check this point in the first instance of a child being lost.
